When you issue a handful of invoices a month, a subscription to invoicing software is out of proportion. Freelancers, sole traders, very small businesses, associations and occasional landlords therefore end up cobbling together a template in a spreadsheet or a word processor: the layout shifts from one version to the next, a total gets forgotten when a line is added, and the result doesn't look very professional. A dedicated form that outputs a clean PDF straight away removes both problems at once.
Then there is the one-off invoice: an exceptional job outside your usual activity, a re-billing of expenses, a reimbursement between organisations, a single sale. You need a presentable document once, not a management tool. And for archiving, PDF remains the right choice: a stable format, readable in ten years without depending on the software that produced it, and accepted by every accountant.
You first pick one of the four layouts — Classic, Modern, Minimal or Bold — and its accent colour, then fill in the issuer and the client, the invoice number, the issue and due dates, and finally your line items: description, quantity, unit price and VAT rate. The net total, VAT broken down by rate and the gross total are calculated automatically on every change — no more broken formula or manual addition. A preview of the PDF sits next to the form and refreshes as you type: what you see is exactly the file you will download, because the same engine produces both.
You can also import your logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP, resized automatically) and have a QR code printed that encodes the link of your choice — an online payment page, a website or a contact card — with a caption under the code. Legal mentions, payment terms and free-form notes remain yours to set. The document is generated on the fly at download time and is not kept: we store neither your invoices, nor your clients, nor your amounts.
Two good practices are worth repeating. Use continuous numbering with no gaps, for example 2026-001, 2026-002: it is a requirement under most tax regimes and it will spare you awkward questions. And always keep your own copy, since nothing is retained on our side.
