Our conversion extracts the PDF's real text — not a screenshot: every word in the HTML is selectable and indexable. The document's images are embedded directly in the file as data URLs: the resulting HTML is self-contained, a single file to host or send, with no image folder to carry around. The document's structure (pages, text blocks, visuals) is reproduced as closely to the original as possible.
Beware of scanned PDFs: they contain only pictures of text, and the conversion cannot extract words from them. Run them through the ocr tool first to reconstruct the text.
