Since iOS 11, iPhones save photos as HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container): a modern format that halves image size at equal quality. Great for the phone's storage, much less so for sharing — Windows won't open it without a paid extension, most websites, online forms and business software reject it, and your recipients get an attachment they can't display. JPG, on the other hand, has been understood everywhere for thirty years.
Converting HEIC photos to JPG is therefore the go-to move whenever an image needs to leave the Apple ecosystem: attaching a photo to an administrative file, inserting it into a Word document, uploading it to a classifieds platform, or submitting it to a rental-management or insurance website. You can convert several photos at once, to JPG or PNG as needed.
The conversion genuinely decodes the HEIC image and re-encodes it as JPG or PNG with a quality setting you control: at high quality, the difference is invisible to the naked eye, while producing a file compatible everywhere. Processing happens locally on our server — your photos never leave it — and the files are deleted as soon as the result is delivered.
Once your photos are in JPG, the image-to-pdf tool turns them into a clean PDF (ideal for sending supporting documents as a single file), and compress shrinks an existing PDF.
